HUGE Teia moment!!! 9 NOV 12

THIS IS a moment I never thought I'd ever see, as unthinkable in its way as my dear sweet Anita going back to work for the military after what she's been through.

As I opened the door to come back in after making a phone call from my car because my regular cell dropped service, Miss Teia, hesitant at first, but much more sure as the minutes passed, stepped OUTSIDE.

I called to Anita to bring the camera; Miss Teia Honey was about 10' from the door and stayed out about 10 minutes before some noise startled her and she skittered back inside.

I am as proud of her as I am in Anita.

Once she got back inside, I asked, "Who are you and what have you done with Teia?"

See the way things are : lots of people praying for  finding a way to keep their "travelers" cats inside and you happy cos Teia have heart to go outside again :-)

Hey Pip, just seeing this!  

You know, I do believe Teia must of brought with her some healing magic into y'all's life.  That is amazing news about Anita!  Very brave of her to return after all she's been through.  And today being Veterans Day is the perfect day to thank you Both for your service.  

I think there are going to be a lot more 'first's for Teia.  She feels loved and safe which is bringing out her true personality.  It is heartwarming to hear you ALL are feeling so much better and moving forward.  What a change a few yrs can make. :)

As far as I know, this is the first time Teia has been out of the house, not in a carrier, since her previous people rescued her from the street as a 6 month old kitten in June 1999, most certainly not since we took her in June 2009.
