I dont know if something is wrong or not.

Alright, So my cat is 1 years old and really fat. But his right eye, always seems more closed then then other eye, and he does this weird thing, where he shuts his eyes really tight for 1 second, then does this again as well,
reputedly for a minute then just acts normal again.
Does anyone know what is wrong? Or if it's normal?
thanks, i hope someone can tell me !
p.s he has done this since he was born.

My cat does that a lot, and I realized it's because he has hair (his own really long hair!) in his eye! I'm a vet student, I checked his eyes for everything I can think of and it was perfect...when I thought it might be hair because what he did was exactly what I did when his hairs enter my eyes, I checked with a flashlight and there it was, a hair in the eye that was a little closed. That's why it last only a bit and then he's normal again =)
Anyway, if you think he's in pain, his eye is red or his eyelids are swollen then take him to the vet, but in my opinion it just sounds like hair!

he either has something inside thats irritating it or something is causing it to be painful for him, has a Vet checked it with their drops that illuminate the area?...
is the eye red at all?
It would be a real good idea to have this looked at by a Vet.
this is NOT normal...keep us posted please...good luck to kitty.
