Is this a bladder infection??

I noticed last night that my 12 yr old cat had peed on some papers that were lying on the floor, when I picked them up to throw away I also noticed that there was a blood like clump, kind of like mucus and was pinkish.
Anyways I had smelled the paper and there was no odor. I looked in by there litter box this morning and noticed she peed outside of the box and that same clot is there.
Is this some sort of bladder infection? She has always taken in a lot of liquids, she eats dry food and she normally urinates a very large amount and she still seems to be urinating a fair amount.

There is a high probability that it is some sort of bladder infection. Other possibilities include cancer of the urinary or genital tracts, stones in the urinary tract, parasites in the urinary tract, rat poison and kidney problems.

It's best to take kitty to a vet. Good Luck, and I hope kitty comes out of this like new :)
