Yes!!! My boy Butters nicely poops right next to the pan if it's not up to his standards but
he yells first. We also have 1 pan per cat. For the surgery, I read that newspaper is sanitary
for use but I don't know if oh. Wait-your eye surgery? But that might work anyway! If your cats will use it, newspaper is sanitary and won't make dust either. Do you have someone tohelp you with the pans? My fiance has to be asked specifically to do them when i have bronchitis. (I have asthma) silly man. Good luck with surgery and sorry I rambled.
See one of the girls just lying there for a while one night, Iol
I have 3 litters is use and a spare one ,two little girls use them all the time
Mother cat do outside when she is there , theres a mount of common sand for her- she already had this habit when arrived. But sometimes she enter home just to enjoy those litters
Pretty funny but its worring me because I set my eye surgery for June and Im afraid I wont be able to keep those as cleaner as they wasnt ( not be down, not carry weight...)
haha yes. every cat i've ever owned (i've had close to 9) has done this exact thing. i cant explain it. i think they are just excited that they have a nice clean place to use and want to take advantage of it immediately. i had one can that would just dig around in it and not actually use it LoL
Yes, cats will often do that. It is a way of marking their territory.
I don't know about Miss Teia (she never uses the box when people are around), but the of the other three, both Kestrel and Chesapeake seem to compete for who can make the first "editorial comment" in the freshly cleaned box. Hildie doesn't seem to care to run that race. ,-) No need, really, as we have 5 boxes for those three to use (2 in each of the bathrooms and 1 in the basement).
With the 2 in Teia territory, yeah, we buy litter by the 40# pail...
