My kittens eyes started with yellow drainage. Now she sounds like she has nasal congestion and her eye is bleeding. She wont eat or drink Im trying to feed her with a syringe but not much luck. Now today I have another kitty with a bleeding eye but no congestion and she ate and drank. These are outside kittens. I have them inside right now. The first kitty also has a temp. What could it be? I have spent to much time looking this problem up on the internet with no answers. I cant get into my vet tomorrow afternoon and we dont have an emergencie vet anywhere around. Please help
I'd guess you're dealing with a case of conjunctivitis and an ulcerated eye. The temperature would confirm it. If there's bloody discharge as well then the damage is serious. The kitten needs antibiotics and drops.
If you have any amoxicillin in the house, scrape a pin Head amount off the pill and rub it on the kitten's gums twice daily.
I'd say take them to a vet, but I gather it isn't an option.
Regardless, at the very least, if not treated they'll lose the eye/s. At the worst they'll die.
