\Lilies DEADLY for cats!!

There is an article in The Daily Mail March 8th (UK) which warns about Lilies, that they are deadly for cats, and even if the cat just brushes against the flowers, gets pollen on its fur, then licks the fur, that can cause severe illness, and death. It affects their kidneys.
Many common lilies have this toxin:
TIGER LILIES
RUBRUM LILY
EASTER LILY
JAPANESE LILY

and probably other varieties.

I thought I'd post this warning. Take care kitties!

Hi ginger899,

THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this warning. I never knew lilies were
toxic to cats. I just asked my hubby if he knew that. He didn't know either.
I'm not fond of lilies so I never have them in the house. This is really
important to know for all the cat parents on this site. :)
