We both are very sensitive.Its being hard to keep routine going but I'm trying
She knows things are not normal.
Lolo is taking good care of me - and I trying to enjoy every minute together
She even accepted laying over me with me using a blanket ( she never do this)
Lots of fear...
Surgery set for the evening so I better forget about having her home the same day.
It means she will stay there and probably with a vet that I dont like - or one I dont know
Evening visitors time is from 6:30 to 7;30 - not sure if I will be able to kiss her goodnight the day
They didnt give me the right hour.Not even the time surgery will take...I really appreciated those...
Its all by now,folks.Counting with your prayers and good vibes...

I would take the cone off and only put it on if she goes for the stitches.  Cats generally won't bother them and you both won't be so miserable.  :)

Lolo was wake just at 5pm yesterday.Surgery was done by 2 something - so said Fabiano.I was there at 3:30pm  and waited til more than pm.
For my surprise ,they let her go home,Not so surprising if you think all there know Im complety broken and one day stay would make things worse
And not so surpirising if they were wondering keep her there would be a hell...for both sides
Lolo is fisically fine.I cant keep the e collar off because of the  probe and she was mad about...
Rubbing collar against everything,Crying,runing from one door to another.Scratching the door.Jumping,Give me a slap in the face ( Im fine)
Took collar off  once already.It was a really long  night...
Some sleeping time just at4am - at the living room.Lights on,no blanket-for me - at the first half hour.I wanted be sure she would stay ther
At this moment she's home alone - beeing 24hours a day with her wont be of much help,I guess.Medicated.
Kids are upsed - they are not eating ...
Vet dont give me many instructions yesterday
She willbe back  Monday, if all keep goingright

Just let the clinic a few minutes ago.
It was 1:30 pm here.Sedative was starting to make her sleep by the moment I had to leave .Told her good things , wished good dreams full with sardines ( yes , she got a few yesterday) and salmon
Told her to be back soon, cos we are all waiting for.With chicken food and so...
Kissed both vets and wished a good job.
I hate Dr Marcelo 's wife and her coments about me leaving and letting Lo there while I was waiting for the guys to come ( arrived 11am)
I WONT LET HER ALONE -NO WAY - I want every minute together we can get.
Clinic was empty - I was not even bothering other clients  by crying or taking a set from someone
I will be back there later on.To know she is fine
And to see her wake - even if it was only possible late in the evening
Still hoping she can go home today...

Sending prayers and good wishes for a very successful surgery. Lolo will feel so much better after this is done. She is in good hands by staying at the clinic. They are ready for any emergency, takes the worry away from you somewhat.

Mia had exploratory surgery a month ago and she was hooked up to a lot of IV's for fluid, antibiotics, food. When she begins to eat on her own they will allow her to leave. She should stay at the vets until then. When you visit her (and that should be ok'd for anytime they are not too busy) You should bring her some baby food--chiken or lamb. Let her lick it off your fingers . She will feel better just having you there to visit her.

Try not to worry..... she is in good hands.

You mean fastening??? Yes, I know about - she will eat and drink just til 11pm today .I'm suposed to take her there at 12 am
They said I could be with her til she gets the sedatives

If you guys had good info about the post - op, I will be glad in knowing and I will read asap.
Not sure when I will be on line again, maybe not today - I just spending time, waiting for talk with Dr Marcelo about some points of the surgery
I hope they let me stay with her til the moment she get the sedative...
