Miss Teia - happy kitten dance
The past few days, Miss Teia has been going to Anita for lap time (and slept on my chest last night when I fell asleep in the recliner), but when no lap is available, she likes the couch in the sunroom.
There is a fluffy white blanket we use as a throw. A few days ago I heard an odd noise (repeated just a few minutes ago)...
There was Miss Teia "making biscuits" on the blankets, happily kneading and purring.
She spends most of her time in the sunroom or kitchen. Hildie and Chessie like the bedroom and sitting area upstairs, but do come downstairs a lot, too.
We hope to put an offer on a house soon, if we get the one both Anita and I like, there will be plenty of room for the girls to have their own territories. There is a large sunroom, huge country kitchen/great room and all three bedrooms are 15 x 15. Plus, for me, it's on 19+ acres of and that is in a forest conservation program.

Fingers crossed that you all get that house. Sounds like a dream come true.
Diego and I are adjusting to having a new upstairs neighbor (yet again...such is apt. life!)....her sound system works quite well..haha.
The thought of a home with grounds is heavenly all right.

I love the sound of the house you hope to get. Nineteen acres would ensure that there aren't any neighbors too close to you to drive you nuts. I wish I were in a position to get a house in such an ideal neighborhood. I would totally put up with the worry of bears and cougars if it meant no more stupid humans living too close to me. Naturally, I would still keep my indoor kitty inside no matter what.
It sounds like your kitties would love that house, too, since it sounds like it's the ideal house for three or four cats.
