My cat gliding on the floor

Could someone help me please......  My nearly 6 months old cat is gliding on the floor with her back up.  She also making some purring noise.  She didn't look sick but I think she is in pain.   She vees on the floor with few spots far away from the little.  She asks want to go out.  She wants me to cuddle her to sleep.  She eats well, poo once a day.

I call my vet and he is on holiday.  I described that to the emergency nurse.  The nurse said it is nothing urgent.  Looks like my cat is on "hit".  We planned to take her for desex the end of this month because the vet said desex will take place in six month old cat safer.

I wish to know how to stop her meowing / purring so much?  Will after desex, she still can go in "hit"?  Would she back to normal peeing in the little?

Thanks.

She isn't in pain. Just leave her be and get her spayed whenever you can :-)

Thanks for the posts.

Can I rub some vaseline on it for her at the moment?  Would it relief?  I saw her vaginal quite red and a bit of swelling.  Don't know is it an infection or not?  How can you tell?

We got a desex male cat at home but he don't interesting on her.  He is 12 and got renal diease.  My vet come back on the 20th.  I think she is settled a bit but still quite unwell.

Any relief method for her?

When you  get her fixed she will stop doing all of those weird things she has been doing. It is normal for a cat in heat to act like this. As soon as your vet comes back, take the cat in and get her spayed. She'll be happier this way. This isn't an emergency. Just don't let her go out!

I think you're girl is in 'heat' meaning she is wanting to breed....you need to get her spayed asap to prevent her from becoming pregnant!!
Keep her indoors until you can get this done or she will seek out a male...
She will continue to come in and out of heat until she is either bred by a male or fixed (spayed)....good luck and patience.
