My cat has round sores just below and behind both ears, what is it?

The sores are scabby and yellow and red in color. I haven't seen her itching very often and there are no signs of ear mites. She did just get off antibiotics from a tooth extraction. Could it be allergy related?

ATre...I'm sorry it's taken me so to reply.  How is your kitty now?  I suppose it *could* be allergy related.  It's been 3 days since you posted.  Are the sores healing?

The sores are healing. I'm just waiting to see if her hair grows back in those places.
