Sounds like your cat may have ingested something toxic, to some degree.  Other possibilites are pancreatitis, IBS.  It could also be certain internal parasites.

Are there any other symptoms at all?  Have you noticed if your cat is going to the litter box normally?

If you can, it's true that you really should take your cat to the vet as soon as you can.

Also, make sure you are using a good quality canned food, along with dry food.  That will assure that your cat does not become dehydrated (which can cause overproduction of bile, among other things).  

If your cat isn't eating on its own, you should force feed water, at least, with a feeding syringe.  I have an article in the health page that you can read to find out how to do this.  Also, KMR milk replacer would be helpful if your cat can keep it down.  If not, then just water.  Cats can not go very long without food and definitely not without water.
