My cat's eye is twitching a lot

Hi I have this can called ozzy and he went out a couple of hours ago and he came back with his eye closed and now it is opening now but it is opening and then closing like twitching (only 1 eye) but would he have been hit by a car ( I live on a busy road ) or could he have an infection can u please answer my question

In that case take him to the vet! He might have ingested something that also got in his eye. The probabilities of what might have happened are many. So to be safe & before he gets dehydrated please take him to the vet! Keep me posted ^..^

Hi ok I will do but since it was twitching he is throwing up all of his food I forgot to tell u this so I will do what u said thx

He might have gotten some sort of debris in his eye, such as, dirt, pollen, etc.  Try flushing his eye, use a dropper. Do this several times. If he's not better in 1/2 an hr., take him to the vet, because the debris could be under his secondary eyelid.
