My husband is allergic

Hello all!
My husband is allergic to cats, but I have been longing for one for quite a while. I just love them.
What are some breeds that I could bring into my home? We specifically like the Ocicat, is that one hypoallergenic?

I don't know about that . . .but my hubby is allergic too and we have 5 cats.  He takes Zyrtec for his allergies and it helps him completely.  I realize everyone is different though and it really depends on the severity of the allergies.  We started feeding out cats a better food (not the stuff you buy in any grocery store or pet store) and since then they do not shed as much and so hubby's allergies are not as bad either.

there really is no such thing as a hypoallergenic animal, they all have dander, some possibly less than others I'm not sure there?
allergy meds are the only course....sorry

My husband is allergic to Abby. I bought 'Allergy Relief from Cats' and followed the instructions. It worked!! So I guess no matter what feline you bring in, if hubby is allergic to the cat's saliva you can always get this product at a pet shop and do your thing...
