New Home? How Cats Behave.

I just adopted an adult female cat.  She is driving me CRAZY because she won't quit meowing.  I realize she is still readjusting to her new home, etc but she is so LOUD too.  I'm relieved that my downstairs neighbors just moved out or I don't think I'd be able to keep her simply from the noise level.  Is there any way I can make her feel more comfortable in her new home because I'm getting insane already just from all the meowing.  Like I don't even want to be in my apartment anymore because she is so loud.

hi, how old is the cat???? if she is over 7 months old it is VERY LIKELY that she is in HEAT.....this will continue until her cycle is over or you get her spayed!!..........if you don't get her spayed the heat cycle's will continue to happen every few months, please have this kitty spayed asap.
