New member of the family

The shelter where I work has a program called "Home for the Holidays" where people can foster a cat or dog over Christmas.  I brought a cat home the same day we found Squeaky after he week long MIA adventure.  My husband actually picked her out.  He is still missing Zena, who died in September, so not surprisingly, he picked a blue eyed blonde.  She is a two year old spayed female, snowshoe tabby mix, who is quite the talker.  She fit right in with the other cats and hubby has fallen in love with her, so we will be adopting her.  Her shelter name is Chastity, but he wants to rename her but hasn't had the inspiration yet for her new name (any suggestions most welcome).

I posted some new photos this morning of her as well as the other 3.  So we now have Zylo, 14 year old male white and black van, Zany, 11 year old female Bengal, Squeaky, 9 month old male blue and white bicolor, and now Chastity, soon to be ???

Well she is now officially adopted.  Her name of record is Chatty but we also call her Chit Chat, or when she is in trouble, we holler CHIT!   LOL

She is long but fairly lean, typical of the Siamese in her mix.  She looks bigger because of her fluffiness but she only weighs about 8 pounds, so a bit heavier than Squeaky but lighter than Zylo and Zany.  My husband is leaning toward Chatty for her new name because she is so talkative, but I do like Champagne.  Let me see what he thinks of that.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Congrats on your new addition, Nancy.  Chastity is a beauty!  I'll have to get to your profile soon and see your new pics.  Is she a large cat?  From her paws and the tufts coming out, I am guessing she is.  p.s. Chastity looks like her name could be "Champagne" : )

Yes, she is a medium hair and has quite the fluffy tail.  She is quite the sweetheart.
