My cat has been diagnosed with a hyper thyroid. I have to give her a pill daily and she fights me terrible about it. My question is over time will she adjust to it or will the fight get worse? I guess she thinks I'm abusing her.

Go to the pet store and buy Pill Pockets. You will save time and energy, and she will think you are treating her and spoiling her rotten. You can also buy those pill pockets online. They come in many flavors. Pick the one your kitty likes. My cats love the salmon and chicken flavor, so whenever they need medication that's what I get them. I put the pill inside the pill pocket and just give it to them. Don't worry if the pills are too big for the pill pockets. You can always wrap the pill using more than one pill pocket.

Your life will all of a sudden become much easier.
