My cat mite have a broken jaw he won't eat or drank I've sent him to the vet over night but it cost me 500$ and I can't afford anther night it's been four days and he is now walkin around and is breathing harder and gulping he has all his teeth broken and I don't no what to do ?
hi....I am so sorry for your poor kitty..Devin I am going to be blunt with you and this isn't easy. You will need to learn how to feed this kitty right NOW with a syringe or dropper...you will have to blend all his food and give it to him this way(canned food or baby food). You cannot leave him suffer like this..a cat will get liver disease within just a few days without food, his organs will start to shut down and he will die in a slow painful way.
You MUST be shown how to feed him with a syringe...and you must get some pain medication for him, or please please put this dear little boy to sleep...he cannot just be left like this to die slowly. I'm sorry I had to tell you this. If you are willing to learn I can try and instruct you on assist feeding methods, but it would be much much better if you can go to the clinic and get them to demonstrate and also give him a prescription for pain meds....I don't understand why they sent him home with you and not shown you all this.((((????))))
