Prayers needed for our Opus and little Tori

Question

Hi everyone.  As many of you know, Opus rescued an abandoned kitten just one month ago.  At first, all was going perfectly when suddenly, Tori stopped eating.  In spite of countless vet visits, the cause remains unknown.  Tori is eating very little, with some days, none at all (Opus is assist feeding).  Opus is about at her breaking point herself as she already cares for her 2 boys, both with special needs.  

Please send up some prayers or positive thoughts for this sad situation.

A sling you would use for your arm would work, just close up one end and little Tory can "swing with Mama".

I just wanted to add my prayers as well. We hurt when our furry family members hurt.  We have only had our current cat approx. 4 months and don't know how we were a family without her!

Yeah tht would work, hv to give it a try, I actually looped a string thru the armhole of my tshirt and tied it onto the knotted hem making a kinda hammock, my explanation doesn't make much sense...but it did work!!

Awww Poor Tori.  I saw somewhere that someone had worn a hooded sweatshirt backwards with kitty in the hood on your chest.  That way you could keep her with you but still get something done during the day.  :)

Oh my bless all your hearts for thinking of us and sending yr prayers. Tori is holding her own, eats one day than nothing the next....I am trying to hold back on the assist feeds just so she will be hungry and eat, but don't ever allow it to go beyond 24 hours..she is so tiny:( 
My Vet has just done the run of the mill testing thus far, we are playing it a day at a time right now, hoping she will perk up. He did mention the possibility of FIP, there's no confirmation test for this and no cure, so I am praying this isn't the case. He will run some labs to test her kidneys and liver and pancreas next if she doesn't start eating better and gaining weight soon.

Nemos eye is looking better, but I am seeing some drainage in the left now too, may need to start the antibiotic ointment in that one too. His bowels also are a constant worry, I needed to give him an enema on the weekend, it finally produced results early this morning!!!! Yeah!!! 

Sorry for my absence, between the cats lack of sleep and some very ill friends, I'm just wore out

Keep little Tori in yr prayers, she is such a sweetheart, just wants me to cuddle her all day, if I put her down she toddles along behind me crying...I'm her mommy:)

I'm sorry, I don't have any news to report.  I haven't heard from Opus...which is not necessarily a bad sign...could just mean she is terribly overwhelmed at the moment.

This wonderful caring lady has had more than her share of trials and trouble this year!! Please Jesus may your glory be extended to one of your most faithful lambs. May your will be done for the baby kitty. Also one of your creatures.

Have you considered pancreatitis? This happened to a friend's cat. He was a kitten when he first got sick, then got worse at 1 and a half. It is from a corn allergy. Talk to your vet about it if it hasn't been ruled out. It is very painful which is why cats will stop eating and drinking.

OH__NO---NO----NO----This can not be happening!!!!

This is just too sad and poor Opus has Nemo to worry about ------I wonder why the vet cannot figure this out..

You know you have the support of this entire community! Perhaps the Vet can prescribe an appetite stimulant so you will not have to force feed, Ugh! such stress!!
