RELIEVED!! LOLO New's adventures and Mom"s test of good cardiac health...

Guys,thank you everybody that always pray for me/us.
For sure you helped me once more even without notice you were.
Girl is a lot lazy and caring this rainy days, and also staying voluntary home.Friday noon, about 6 to 7 pM, after a Kangoroo small trip smoothy  i decided she deserved some more fresh air and took her outside wearing the leash.
She was ABSOLLUTELY calm, laid there by my side,everything oK;
Til the moment she unexpectedly jumped and run away as "devil" in person was behind  her.No noises, no people around - and since it took me completely by surprise I just let her go...
I was expecting find her somewhere in the yard - but she just disappeared!
Callings without reply.Many... All unsucessfull
All I could thing was her not being able to came back...

So, here we are,I had a fugitive cat somewhere using a leash and , to make things worse a neighborhood full of grow up bushes,trash,lots of places for her to dangle, and so on
To make story shorter I only had her again about 10 or 11 pM, after LOTS of craying,praying, searching where was possible - and many, many hours talking with the street vigilant ( blessed guy that helped me in keeping my  mental sanity ).It was the only thing that stopped me of thinking for some seconds
I stay there talking with the man til 11 when he left the job and I entered my house completely down hearted to close the door ( yes it was open waiting for her) and prepared for a long night asleep and crying.
I brief look at her corner in the kitchen - and she was not there! Then, whem I was a the living room a black fellow appeared - I thought to myself  "oh kids are here,Joy did it again"
But while she run to a hidden place a leash could see - My, it was may BABY AGAIN,LOLO WAS BACK TO ME :-)
GOD knows what happened, why and where she was,she was a little afraid and hid behind the sofa,I picked a treat to atract her but could nor await til she decided to go - I wanna check my baby carefully SOON I so grabbed her for her first part visible -back legs. For sure she hated, but I guess she deserved it...

All is fine since then.
Loreena has now a "camafeo" with her name,my name and phone besides that embroidered collar - and  yes I'm also searching microchips prices, her vet puts those but I just discovered "Zoonose" (public place from where stray animals recovered are taken too) has no equipment to read those.
So probably its not worth to do it,since vets and hospitals are the first place we look for them,and the poor has to be sick or hurted and very lucky to be removed for one of those ideal places.
My big fear was only about the leash,she can do pretty fine without it

And I already passed by the appropriated department for public cleaning service today to ask someone for the service,just dont know when they will come because of the weather and "more important" stuff

Oh Apple, what a scare for you!!!...........that little stinker she could have been caught in something and never found with that leash dragging behind...I am soooo glad she made it back home safely to you.
Thanks goodness youare safe from those mud slides where you are, I just can't imagine what those poor people and the animals are going through in the bad areas, its so sad to watch this on tv.....

Sooooo happy for you, Apple.  Something similar happened to me and my "Big Tom" years ago...he was missing for 2 weeks.  It makes you feel so helpless and anxious.  I'm glad she found her way back home to you and "the kids.'

Glad you are not in an area where they're are having the terrible floods to deal with. Take care and give the girls a hug and a kiss for me. :)

There's a vet hospital in a city near mine and that city,Mariporã is one of those endangered by dam openings if the level of the water in the hidric system became too high.
I dont know if they are safe,I will try to search about on line.Press here only talks about BIG Tragedies,as hundreds of death in Rio de Janeiro or some fabulous rescue in SP.Sometimes I feel some really like blood - the more,the better.
About Rio, found news about vets rescuing cats,they had 15 kittens and an old female) at the moment in their houses.And TV shows a provisory shelter set for dogs as well

yes God bless them all that help these poor defenseless little critters..most are forgotten about when theres a tragedy such as yours....
