Some updates on the Siamese with broken leg

I just wanted to give an update on the stray who found us. Beckett is doing fantastic! When he first showed up on our back porch he was malnourished, a little dirty, had fleas & worms & ear infection, and a broken leg. We got him all checked out, got vaccines and medications, neuter, etc.

Well here's an update pic to show you how much he is filling out. I believe I have his "first pictures" in my profile still for comparison. We haven't amputated his leg and not sure if we will. He uses the leg like he would if it wasn't broken. It just sticks out weird.

Anyway, when he first arrived he was clingy and had to be held and sleep next to my face. He also slept constantly. Now he's the way a kitten is SUPPOSED to be--- rambuctious and energetic, tearing through the house after imaginary shadows and his dozen catnip toys. Loves to chase us as we walk through the house and tries to latch onto our ankles. It's so cool to see his personality emerge.

Oops, wrote a novel!

Oh and he's sitting in a doll stroller. He likes to curl up in there! I also hand-made his pet tag with his name and our phone number so he can't get lost (hopefully). He's completely indoor since there are awful kids in the neighborhood who abuse animals.

WOW, he looks sooo good now, he's really filled out and looks very healthy.  Ya know what? His colors have gotten much darker that I don't think he's a blue point anymore.  He looks more like a seal point.  Maybe I'm wrong.  Post some more pics so we can see the colors better!!

Good job- he looks so happy and healthy!!

I don't think he's quite dark enough to be seal point, but his color definitely darkened! I don't know if that was because he was young or because he needed some TLC. He's a wild thing now. Tears through the house, chasing imaginary things, jumping at me if I pass by (not in a mean way).

LOL! Sometimes I'll come down the stairs, walk around the corner past our couch and this ball of fur will go FLYING over my shoulder. It is the most hysterical thing. We're enjoying him a lot!

Will post more pics in my profile another day. I'm crunched for time and have to run off to help my MIL with computer things.
