Suddenly aggressive cat

Hello,
We have had two female cats who are sisters for 3 and a half years now. We also got a stray a few years back. They have all been living in harmony and the two sisters are the best of friends and usually groom and play with one another. Yesterday one of the sisters started attacking the other (not playing at all) so aggressively that their was pee flying everywhere, and now attacks anyone with that cats scent on them. As soon as they change their clothes however, she stops attacking them. She is usually the most loving and playful little cat as well. She doesn't attack the stray at all either. now every time she sees this one cat she goes crazy and runs after her to attack her, when usually she is scared everything and hides.

A few months ago the sisters were sitting at the glass window and a stray was on the other side. All of the sudden the sister started to attack the other one aggressively. But them stopped and was fine.

Then at Christmas time, my Mom accidentally stepped on the non-aggressive cat's tail and she made a shreiking noise and the now aggressive cat ran down the stairs and proceeded to attack her sister.

This time the non-aggressive cat was jumping onto the dryer and slipped off and made a funny shreiking noise and it sent the aggressive attack running down the stairs and started attacking it like crazy! But she hasn't snapped out of it yet. They took her to the vet and the vet says she is fine, but whenever she sees that other cats she goes mental and tries to claw anything in her path. When she is by herself again she is her sweet loving self, but once they are together she goes psycho and looses control of her bowels and bladder etc.

Please help me get my sweet little cat back, instead of this crazy attacker!

hi sorry you didn't get a reply until now. I think we are all stumped. But IMO it could well be the 'strays' coming up to your window and getting the kitty's upset.....they are very territorial and see this as a threat therefore brings out the aggressiveness.
One of my males too gets highly upset when he sees another cat in HIS yard...the other reacts by spraying to mark the house as HIS territory...so they all have their own reactions.

All I can recommend is homeopathy. I was never a believer in such things until some recent issues and I tried as a last resort and got very good results with.
If you are interested in pursuing this I can tell you what to buy for the particular problem your kitty is up against....cost would be less than $15.
best to you all♥

Bach Rescue Remedy.  It's even sold at the local independently owned pet boutique.  I don't remember the right amount to put in kitty water, but I tried it on my Siamese for her IBD.  It helped a little bit.  If it doesn't work on kitty, you won't be out much, because this is the same one that is sold for humans, so you can use it for yourself.
