I agree with Tomcat. You might want to take that kitty to the vet. You don't want a cat with a blockage situation, you really don't.

Good morning to you! Boy...cats love those plastic milk rings, don't they?
Was the ring still intact (i.e. a whole circle) or had it been cut/chewed into a straight line?
Given the size of the kitty's GI tract and the size of the milk ring, I would be hesitant to say that this will pass easily. If you take your cat to the veterinarian soon, they might be able to catch the ring in the stomach with an endoscope.
I would call your veterinarian for advice on this...in some cases with dogs, veterinarians will recommend a heavy meal to try and coat the object and help move it out of the system. I am not sure if this is an option in cats or not.
