Ugh - How do I check if I still have a pulse...?

Ugh... Savas has managed to escape the nefarious clutches of the American Health care system.

I'll hopefully be up to answering y'all in the next day or two. But that was one of the most malicious hospital stays I've ever had. For those curious, I'd suffered a Gall Bladder attack and they had to arrange for emergency surgery to have it (gall bladder) removed (the length of time involved was because the surgeon kept not showing up to do the job).

The whole story is nothing short of a George Romero horror piece...and I shall write it up accordingly later...after I've gotten some sleep and purged all the drugs out of my system. As of right now, I'm still having trouble seeing straight.

thanks for all your messages and support. now i'm gonig to have the first real cup of Tea I've had in days (oh, GOD I've been looking forward to that. A good cuppa tea!!! :)

Hopefully that "cat" a pult didn't launch too far. =P

I hope you get back to thinking better soon.

My cat likes to snuggle next to me under the covers and pur. It's all great unless he starts kneeding with his claws...

so sorry to hear this has happened to you!  I should have had mine out 9 yrs ago and still say next attack ... my teenage daughter had hers out just this past January at the age of 16!!  It took 5 days in a top rated children's hospital to diagnose what was going on and then another 3 to be released after they took it out!!!  She only had 4% function ... I have kidney stones, too .... Savas, if only we could sell these stones on e-bay .. just thinkg .. we'd be rich by now!!!!!

Please be well, take your time to recuperate and watch what you eat; it takes some time to re-regulate .............

My best to you,

C~

This most frustrating thing is I literally can't THINK straight. I got no sleep in the hospital for those five days (the woman in the next room was mentally unstable; spent all her time screaming and banging the furniture), didn't get fed for days on end, and they kept me pumped full of pain killers since the surgeon kept canceling the surgery daily.

Every time i look at a question on the forum, it's like I'm reading Chinese (which...I can't read. Hence the problem).

I've gotten to the point where I can recognize there IS a question there...and yes, there is an answer... but for the life of me, I don't know it. Hopefully I'll get some of mental faculties up and running in the next day or two, but for now, I don't trust any responses I may give.

And yes, the heaviest cat in the room DID try to walk across my stomach in the middle of the night while I was sleeping, causing me to reinvent the "Cat" a pult. :)

Glad your back, Savas. Just take it easy for awhile and rest up. I had my appendix out 4 years ago. I know it's not much fun. Hopefully, you'll feel better soon, though. You may have to watch more of what you eat now. Or you may not have to. Each person is different. Just experiment and see how you feel.
Tea's always good! :)

I'm glad to hear you're back. Hope that cup of tea helps.  I need to upload the picture of my "mighty" hunter Waldo with his toy mice lined up like they are nursing off him. He doesn't even look bothered that I'm poking fun at him.
