Unknown bugs on my cat's fur

Hi,

I recently realized that my cat has been licking and biting her skin more frequently and decided to bathe it.
After bathing with ordinary shampoo, i realize it is still doing so.
Looking closely at on the white fur of my cat, i noticed some spots of reddish brown spots attached to the fur.
As the tiny spots do not move at all, i assume they are probably not fleas which is mentioned to be moving about and hopping about quickly.

When i attempted to remove the spots from the fur with my nails, i realize that they are bugs as they started moving!
Can anyone suggest what are those bugs?

Regards,

I've since went to the pet store and they recommended frontline spot on cat and i applied it on my cat about 12hours ago. It is still licking and biting itself like before =(
Those bugs are too tiny to appear in picture. They are about the size smaller than tiny ants.

The product claim to be able to kill 98-100% flea within 24hrs of application. Hope whats on my kitty are fleas. will post back later, thanks =)

Could be ticks. Do you have pictures of the bugs? It'd help us figure out what it is she has. Otherwise I'd take her to the vet ASAP. They might put her in heartworm prevention treatment, flea prevention etc. But, you need to treat it so I'd take her to the vet. They are sucking the life out of her. Not good. She might have internal parasites too which might also be dangerous to you.

I'd say don't delay the trip to the vet.
