Upper lip

The one side of my cat's upper lip sticks out kind of like a hair lip would on a person.  It doesn't seem to bother her but she has had it for several years.  I haven't been able to take her to the vet to check on this yet but wondered if you can tell me what could cause this.  The lip sticks our and is kind of arched.  That side of her mouth doesn't close all the way and you can see her teeth.

I don't really know what to tell you, without looking at it I can't even guess.....all I can say that is if its been there for several years and hasn't grown or changed in anyway than I really don't think its anything to worry about.
perhaps she was in a fight or injured it somehow and thats the way it healed?
