Urgent: is my cat dying?
My cat hasn't been able to stand or walk properly, won't eat and hardly drinks. His eyes seem to have a large amount of mucous in them. He's old, about 70-90 cat years. Recently his litterbox hadn't been changed for about 11 days, could he have gotten an infection from this? If so, is it treatable? Everyone seems to think he's dying, I'd like to cure him if it's possible. Thank you.

It's possible to pick up an infection or parasite from an dirty litter box, for both kitty and human.

You should try taking him in, it could be as simple as an infection or parasite. There's also other issues that can come up with a cat of that age. They are manageable and treatable.
