Weird Teia
Well, in light of the kitty concerns being expressed, I though an amusing teia update might be in order. No pictures, as I'm a bit shy. :)
3rd day in a row now...Missy T has a new habit.
After I shower, draw back the curtain and am drying off, Teia jumps up to the rim of the tub and licks the spout dry. She then jumps back down, gets a drink from her bowl (we re-established the after breakfast fresh water routine).

However, I forgot my key yesterday and had to ask the landlady (whose name is Hilda and thinks that fact that we have a kitty named Hildie is charming) to let me in. She asked me into their side of the house and I chatted with her and Moose (her husband) for awhile.
She let me back into the apartment through that door I mentioned above.
Miss Teia came up to the threshold as I stood in the open doorway still chatting a bit and stood there looking at Moose, Hilda and their Chihuahua, a sweet little girl named Baby. Missy T almost came into their living room, but I shooed her back as Charlie the Bichon thinks all cats are his bestest buddy and none of us people thought Teia and Charlie meeting would be a good idea. Charlie was asleep in Moose's lap.

LOL, Pip! I've had cats watch me take a bubble bath on the ledge of the tub and wind up IN the tub with me. I'll see them teetering on the edge of the tub and I tell them, you're about to fall......then, kerplunk.....splash. They were not the happy campers and hauled butt out of the tub at the speed of light.

I had occasion to chat with my landlords today.
Between their living room and the four season room of our apartment is a glass door covered by a full length blind on our side.
The Mrs says that Hildie cat gets behind the shade and watches them, their dogs and kitties a few times a week.

Isn't that great how animals love to incorporate themselves into our routines. This is all new to Miss Teia (well, not so new anymore), and she seems to be adapting new routines every day it seems. I think it takes a while for these types of kitties who are neglected to know what is allowed and what it not, don't you think?. At least this seemed to be true with Jade.
I hope the new house is coming along :)
