can cats come visiting?

I was recently in between houses so was staying at my sisters, i had my cat with me of course, at my sisters there are two chiuauas(?)and a puppy who all got on well with the cat and also a closed off garden which he loved, now i've moved and have been settling him in over last couple of weeks, i'm wondering if i go back to visit would it be ok for the cat to come, would it be safe to still let him out in the garden there or is he likely to bolt?!

Well, you never know when a kitty will take it into his or her head to disappear, even when you're home and trying to catch him to go to the vet.  If you brought the cat for a visit (which he probably would enjoy even without going outside), and wanted to go home at a certain time and not to have to leave without the cat, I wouldn't suggest letting the cat out into the garden.
