My cat is 11 years old male brought him to the vet in Feb. 2013 for yearly check up lost 2 lbs. in a year. Brought him in this week for test and has lost a 1/2 of pound. He stills eats and drinks water bout not a lot the Vet. told me that he has liver cancer. What can I do?
Hi, so very sorry to hear that your cat has liver cancer. I'd keep the kitty as comfortable as possible-ask the vet about pain meds, and possibly get him put on steroids(this may help the inflammation and shrink the cancer a bit). Also, you may want to keep some chicken broth on hand and some strained meat baby food for the days he doesn't feel like eating.
