my baby has a uti

I do no have the money to go to the vet for at least a week and in the meantime i have cipro 250mg ,my cat weights15 lb I need to know how much i can give my baby(lover)I have called every where but i cant get a straight answer ,I just do not want to hurt the cat.I have 4 250 mg cipro have heard1 to 2 mg per lb and also 65 mg please help my cat is so very unconfortable.I have had cats and almost every other kind of animal in my long life PLEASE HELP ASAP       help help help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please do not self medicate your kitty, cipro may be the wrong med for one thing, the med has to match the right stain of bacteria, so you can kill your kitty by overdosing too much or at the very least make infection worse by administering the wrong med.
Please do not try to guess!!!! Your kitty weighs at least 1/10-1/15 th of your weight meds intended for you cannot be cut down that far!!

my cat has a uti and i have cipr 250mg but have no idea how much to give him 15 lb cat I do not have the money for the vet for another 2 weeks and i can tell he is very uncomfortable   please help  how many mg should i give him????
