pm party time!

Anyone else's cat have a "party" in the middle of the night? We frequently get up to find our bathtowels on

the floor and the kitchen  garbage flipped over! Either our 3 cats are rocking it out or we're haunted!

My cats sleep at night like little angels.

Sounds like your cats like to throw late night parties. How many do you have? How old are they? Is this behavior something new or has it always been this way?

I would prefer that to the 3:00 a.m. feeding meow because she believes that when she is hungry we should pour more food in her bowl. If it has been sitting there more than 30 minutes she won't touch the food until fresh food is poured.

Plus she is not as dumb as my other cat so I can't pour the food back in the canaster and then back in the bowl and she will eat it. It has to be straight from the canaster... Picky picky cat!

LOL..."can't poor the food back in the canister and then back in the bowl"  That's funny.  A hassle though, I know.  I've a cat that's the same way.

It is a hassle but I just laugh about it and pour just a little bit more in the bowl. I have even tried pouring into the canister shaking it and then pouring back into the bowl and she will look at me sniff the food jump down and bug the crud out of me to give her "new" food.

She also knows that she gets can food first thing in the morning and she will bug me until I get up and give her, her can food.

Hahaha...Jade is the same way with the canned food in the morning.  I'm the one who gives her the canned and she knows it!  My husband feeds her the dry when he gets up for work.  Even though she's just eaten this, the second I walk out of the bedroom, even if it's right after she's eaten she acts like she's Starving until I give her the canned.  She tends to vomit if she eats too fast so it's not like I can just put down a bunch of food and that's that, no, I give her a tsp at a time then make her wait which works for the most part, but this can go on for over an hour :)

Wow you must have lots of patience... I couldn't handle that!

I have two cats and I have to seperate them so they both eat. I give each of them their own can on a plate, but I have to put one on one side of the kitchen and the other on the other side of the kitchen. If I don't they will spend more time meowing at each other than eating.  It is like seperating my own kids to get them to eat...LOL

I only have the one cat, no kids, so I have lots of time :)  She's vomited a hundred times on the carpet, so it's worth the extra effort.  It's a real mess trying to clean up soupy wet food vomit off the carpet.  I know the signs well so will hurry and pick her up and bring her in the kitchen so she can vomit on the tile.  She's gotten into the habit of wanting to eat outside the back door.  Fine by me.  Alot easier cleaning up vomit off the concrete.
