pregnancy

so my cat had kittens their now 7 weeks old, and my mom was wondering can she re get pregnant while still nursing or i should say trying to still nurse ? can i get her fixed soon or do i still have to wait?

thank you, I did call the vet and got an appt! and when the kittens get in age ill make one for them too, =)

ive had no more problems of them getting stolen but i guess its also because now that were settled in and got a vet who now knows us it makes it easier lol

Hi,

I just took a look at your photos and it's clear you love cats :)  All so beautiful, but you have had bad luck with some getting stolen.  

Since the kittens are eating on their own and like Nancy said, it's fine to go ahead and make an appt for mom to be spayed.  Kittens are still nursing just for a treat, but no longer necessary.

the kittens eat on their own but she keeps calling them to nurse on her so they do it, so can i still get her fixed? or are they not totally weined yet?

Yes she can get pregnant, but only is she has the opportunity.  As long as you keep her in the house and don't have any unneutered males, it shouldn't be a problem.  If her kittens are eating on their own, then you can go ahead and get her spayed, but then you have to keep her separated from her kittens for several days.
