Has your cat been to the vet? I lost my cat to renal failure but it took a couple of years. They have food and medicine that you can give your pet. Our cat took antibiotics and and we had to give him fluids for about two weeks and then he bounced back without any medicine for over a year and a half. Also it depends on how old your cat is. Ours was about 18 when he was diagnosed. He went on to live a couple more years and quite comfortably. Hope this helps.
