It is not uncommon to get an infection if the claw has torn out.  Vet should help you with a prescription for an antibiotic if it is necessary.

If you are entirely without resources to take the cat to the vet, try one of the humane organizations in your area.  Also, soak the foot.  (I know, easier said than done.)

Hi Bambi,

OOOOOUCH!!!!!!! I completely agree with evewise. Get your kitty to a vet, swelling is not good.

Let us know how things turn out, K?

Poor kitty. This must be very painful. I would have a vet look at your
cat's back paw. If there is swelling this means there is inflammation.
Your vet would be the best person to advise you on what to do.
There could be a danger of infection with a torn out claw.  Eve ( caregiver
