Gluten Sensitivity & Tingling/Vibrating

Hi Everyone:

I am DX with Lyme disease but I am wondering if my diet might be at all contributing to my symptoms.  I do not have celiacs but I have tested positive several times for having a "sensivity" to gluten.  I went gluten free for almost a year but have been cheating a bit lately.

I get like a rippling feeling under my feet, small vibrations, tingling, twitching mostly in legs.  Does anyone here experience this from eating gluten..?

My gut will hurt almost immediately and I will get nauseous.  I don't have official diagnosis of Celiac, and from being on this forum I have learned that it's still possible to have Celiac and test negative for it.  I get terrible eczema, specifically Dyshidrotic eczema, also known as Pomphlox, if I eat gluten.  Since there is an obvious difference if I leave the gluten alone, my PCP acknowledges that I at least have gluten intolerance without Celiac.  So, I still have to live like someone with Celiac, whether it's officially Celiac or is gluten intolerance that isn't Celiac.

I'm not experiencing exactly what you're describing, but I do think it's possible that you are reacting to the gluten.  Considering that eczema is the itch that rashes and is deep inside where you really can't reach the itch, I do think it's still possible that you're reacting to the gluten.  You might be one who just has some unusual reaction to eating gluten because you are already dealing with Lyme Disease.

Have your B12 level checked. I'm in the process of a biopsy for Celiac (I have an Aunt and sister both blood test neg. as well as myself yet they have it) Anyhow, B12 has been my BIGGEST celiac/gluten issue. My level was within low/normal range (230) yet caused me many, many issues. I was first diagnosed with MS my neurological symptoms were so bad. Since I have started B12 shots (and for me sublingual does not help anymore then any other B12 pill)

I'm also very low on Vitamin D that I have to have treated.

I tst negative for celiac but as soon as i stopped eating gluten aal my blisters went away. I too have a b12 deficency and get shots 2 -3 times a week. It makes a huge difference.

Has anyone been diagnosed with lazy stomach who has gluten issues too?

I wonder where the blisters you had were.  I have gotten blisters on my feet, not from shoes but wonder if they could be because of the gluten intolerance.  I have been gluten free now for 4 months.  I have not had them for a long time now.  Just curious.  Could just be a foot problem.  I don't know what a lazy stomach is.  I have terrible stomach pain and eating gluten free has helped but not stopped the pain entirely.  The food hurts on the way down.
