Navel seem to be opening

  Hello,
I am not pregnant, and I have not had children for well over 15 years. I have had a complete hysterectomy and appendectomy 15 years ago. I have had three c-sections and endometriosis. I have pain around my belly button and when I looked, it looks as though it's a hole..I have also been learning to live gluten free. Because i was so ill, I believe the celiacs was the factor since I do feel better. But what is the navel opening..possibly related to celiacs or bacteria? Any Advice you have will be helpful to say the least. Thank You.

It is possible to have a little birth defect where the umbilius didn't seal up right.  Usually people complain of odor as a fluid drains from there.  I think you should have it checked.  a hernia usually causes a bulge there, not a hole.
