I have been constipated my entire life. I recently was diagnosed with celiac disease. Since I have been completly gluten free (only about a month), I have had diareahh for the past two weeks. Is this commonCommon cold when going off gluten? It is difficult to get in to my Gastro although I do have a colonoscopy scheduled for Dec 1. My nathropath said that most of the time diareahh is caused from parasites (yeah I know, the two worlds don't agree). Any ideas or input? Thank you.
Hi, read your post. Question, do you still have your gallbladder? You didn't mention
if you had stomach pains. I had my gallbladder removed in 2001 and was found to
have celiac disease in 2006 by my blood pannel. Yes, your bowels will go through
change when you change you diet to gluten free. You have to be careful when you eat
out. It is a sure bet you will get cross contamination. Cooks are lazy when cleaning their
grills.Read your labels on your products you buy. More and more stores are carrying
gluten free products. Also be careful of store bought meats. They may contain fillers
which has gluten in them. Im my case, I still have problems with my stomach, which means, I have to go in next week for endoscope and colonoscopy next week. I got
careless, and when to DisneyDisney winnie the pooh complete Disney winnie the pooh gummies Disney winnie the pooh with extra c world and got sick. It took me this long to get in to see
a specialist. That's five months of being sick. Good luck
sorry you are sick Elizlyn..but it's nice to hear someone also has my symptoms. I've had severe nausea and IBS-C forever...4 years! ..can't sleep..anxiety and i'm only on week 2 on gluten free (not diagnosed but after a heavy elmination diet it's the only thing that makes sense). My anxiety is slowly going down..and my handsHand or foot spasms Hand tremor are not sweatingSweating Sweating - absent like crazy (that happens when I get sick)..and I think it is gluten that is causing my life to be upside down.
found out i'm totally intolerant to soy when I did my elimination diet, so that took care of the nausea and now i'm just IBS-C. Like what jman said, I had my gallbladder taken out in 2007 while searching for answers and a bunch of people warned me that if I eat something heavy in fats like a donut or cheese you get IBS-D in a bad way. It never happened for me so I totally ignored their advice until I started doing the gluten free diet and ate some peanuts (fat) and WAMO IBS-D.....so that might be why you're having issues OOOOR...you still could be intolerant to something else like I am. Usually IBS-D is either lactose or fructose so I'd avoid both for a few weeks and then add in one to see. My guess is you're either eating heavy fats without a gallbladder like jman said or you're still intolerant to something.
