Has anyone else here had trouble convincing their GI to order the more extensive CD tests? I can't seem to be getting anywhere with any of my doctors even being willing to do this. I have definite gluten intoleranceCeliac disease - sprue Gestational diabetes Lactose intolerance. That's not really the issue. My doctors accept that much as a fact based on my IBS symptoms. I suspect CD for a couple of reasons: I'm dealing with eczema breakouts every time I cheat and eat something I know I'm not supposed to be eating. I don't do this often, and someone just warned me about the possibility of developing cancer if I continually aggravate my intestines. That got my attention, so I won't be cheating again any time soon. I went through more than two years of being very strict about my diet and gluten, so I know very well that I do react to the gluten.
