He gets dizzy spells, his vision blurs and the top of his head gets very hot. I'm desperate. he cant go to work, he has no energy or strength and can barely get out of bed. what is it? doctors have no clue. please help.

Carolm, check and recheck EVERYTHING he is eating. Cross-check labels and contact the companies to find out if there is hidden gluten in anything. You'd be surprised at what small amounts can be hidden and allowed by the government and it doesn't have to be labeled. He may also be reacting to oats - some celiacs do. And check to see if he's cross-reacting to casein - the major protein in dairy - also a problem with some celiacs.

Be cautious of corn, and soy.

Thanks for replys.
We were told yesterday that he is not celiac and it might be chrones disease although hes not showing much symptoms for chrones.  He is been admited to hospital tommorrow for more tests.  They seem to just be focusing on his belly when his head is worse.  The diet he has been on has eased his belly pains a bit so there must be something in the foods that was harming him but no one can understand what is causing the trouble with his head!!

Even if he's not true celiac, a celiac diet can help some of those with IBDs, so don't completely abandon the idea. They're gene-linked diseases and some find that going gluten-free can make their symptoms a lot less.

Did the docs check labs to see what he is nutritionally deficient in?  Is he taking vitamins?  Maybe his nutritional status is still down and needs boosting.

are you still cooking in the same plates, bowls and such as when food with gluten was present?
there is a detoxing that can have the brain detoxing from the toxins.
Also, I found chiropractic adjustments keep my body more willing to work through the time I get contaminated.
migraines can cause heat in the top of the head, blurry vision and such, which the more the body is gluten free, the more it will notice when it gets poisoned. So, I found migraines got worse when I went GF, but also got less when I got aligned and avoided major nitrates or sulfites which challenged the body too much.

Thanks for replys guys.
Well he's been in hospital for the 3 & half weeks. He went for an mri scan last week and they found a blood clot at the back of his brain. So we found out why he was getting the blurred vision and the burning sensation on the top of his head. They put him on a blood thinner for the week and he came home few days ago.. hes on tablets now called warfarin i think for the next six months so that hopefully with his blood regulated his antibodies will kill off the clot!! He's still very sick but hopefully with time he'l be ok. Still no explanation about his stomach, they think it might be gastro.  He's on tablets for that aswell at the moment. He's off work for a few months as he cant stand for very long. Just so happy they finally listened to him and they found it in time!!
