celiac vs a cold virus

my 7 year yr old twins and myself have celiac disease...one son has dh..we watch everything we put in our mouths..but it seems like when the one son with the dh has a cold//his skin breaks out..does anyone know this to be the cause...im going out of my mind wondering where he could have gotten glutens...and he has not had any..i think its the cold..any ideas??anyone??
