fructose malabsorption disease

this is for my 14 yr old daughter. She has been diagnosed with Malabsorption Disease and she is going by the diet, with im sure a few relapses, but she is experiencing severe numbness to the arms and legs. it is scaring her so bad that she is begging for her dr. to find something to help her.

Has she had her iron levels checked? sounds like it could be Iron Deficiency to me, witch is common if she hasn't been absorbing vitamins due to malabsorption. This might pass if she keeps to the diet, but if it gets worse goto the doctors or even the emergency room if it gets bad suddenly. Anemia can be very serious.
