severe stomach pains and vommiting

Hi my name is Candice and I have been having problems with stomach pains and vommiting since I was about 15 years olds.  I had my first hospital visit when I was 15 years old I has having severe stomach pains and I could keep anything down.  They kept me for 3 days and then told me that I probably had a stamach virus.  I am now 29 years old and I get sick at lease twice a month and its hard for me to gain weight.  My mom had to come to stay with me because when I get sick I can't do anything I barely have the strenght to make it to the bathroom to vommit.  I have tried all kinds of pills and have been tested for so many things I can't remember but they haven't found anything.  They can see that I am sick but don't know whats causing it. I can't get a job but I can't get SSI because I having been diagnose with anything yet.  If anyone can help me wih this it would help a lot.

Sounds like you might have CVS (Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome). GI tests likely won't find it, as it is considered to be more of a neurological problem akin to migraines.

Do you have a diagnosis yet?

Have you been tested for allergies, particularly food allergies.  Whenever I eat chocolate, about twice a month, a get sick.  As I am a diabetic I should NEVER eat it, but twice a month I do eat it.

How do you do with milk, yogurt, sherbet, ice cream, etc.  Do you get sick the same day that you eat anything like that?  The next day?

Is there any food that when you think back you remember getting sick after eating?
