MiraLax (over-the-counter) or Amitiza (prescription).  Magnesium citrate.

In addition, an antispasmatic prescription does help with the pain from the cramping.  My GI isn't convinced I have Celiac, but I do have IBS-C and I clearly am affected by gluten myself.  My nephew has Celiac, though.  Some in alternative medicine think that this is still Celiac.  Either way, I am affected similarly as you do.

Bentyl is the one antispasmodic use.  Generic is Dicyclomine.  The thing of it is, you should not use it long-term.  You need to take breaks from using it.  Your GI will say the same thing.  This or another antispasmodic can help with the pain.  There is another one with the generic name Hyocyamine (spelling) that was ineffective for me.  Bentyl is sedating, which should be a motivating factor for not overusing it.  Some like the other one I mentioned that doesn't work for me.  Two factors will determine which one you use:  your insurance coverage (the other one wasn't covered by my insurance) and which one works best for you.
