Anyones child with these mri results?

by isthiscp, Aug 02, 2009 09:13PM
Hi my son is almost 3 and he has had 2 mris. First one said" Widening of the sylvian fissures with prominent peri-cerebral fluid spaces anteriorly. Widening of the sub arachnoid space. White matter of high signal is noted." His second one ( a year ago) said " Symmetrical increased T2 abnormality in the deep periventricular white matter posteriorly on both sides" . He is globally delayed, six-ish words, frequent falls, weak right side, hypotonia(especially truncal) cant do stairs etc. Can anyone tell me if their child had a similar MRI because my Dr's are saying he is perfectly normal, just LAZY
