Cerebral Palsy Parent: Should I Try Oxygen Therapy?

Parents of children with cerebral palsy often look for alternative treatments to provide a better way of life for their child. Lisa Viele is one such parent. Her 11-year-old daughter, Lizzy, is blind, non-verbal, suffers from seizures, is spoon-fed, and wears diapers.

After hearing a story of success from a fellow cerebral palsy parent, Lisa researched hyperbaric oxygen therapy as an option for Lizzy.  Lisa describes her journey through the decision process, cost, insurance considerations and search for a clinic. Although the treatment is not FDA approved, there is some  evidence that breathing in pure oxygen can increase healing of areas of the brain that were deprived of oxygen. To get more information about oxygen therapy and Lisa’s decision to enroll Lizzy in treatments visit, Cerebral Palsy News: Parents Chooses Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment at http://www.cpfamilynetwork.org/cerebral-palsy-articles/cerebral-palsy-news-parent-chooses-hyperbaric-oxygen-treatment

Hi everyone,

I am a mother of a 11years old son. Since he was born, he is suffering paraparesis, a partial paralysis affecting the lower limbs.

We heard about the method of Dr. Ulzibat, and we decided to do the intervention one year ago. And I have to say how glad we are, with the successful results. Now he does many things, he couldn’t do before, like ride an exercise cycle or walk by himself (with a little help of a walking stick).

There is more information about this technique on the website: http://www.*******.**/ulzibat_en/welcome.html

I also hope this helps someone!
