Numbness in both legs & buttocks

by Ravish69, Jul 21, 2009 08:45PM
Hi,
I`m experiencing numbness in the lower part of my body(below waist) since yesterday.
My medical past is not very good...I had Bells Palsy on my left cheek(8-10 Yrs back) & and a year back i had optic Neuritis...Is this numbness also related somewhat to Neurology?

Hi,

How are you? Do you still experience numbness in your lower extremities? Numbness is usually nerve-related and with your history of Bell's Palsy and optic Neuritis, it is highly recommended that you have this evaluated further by your neurologist. Your medical history and complete neurological examination will help determine the underlying cause. Take care and do keep us posted.
