Please help!!

What could possibly cause the neck of a baby that is almost a year not to be able to hold the neck..Someone said maybe the head is bigger than the body..Can that be?

Hi,
How are you? There are many possible causes why the neck of a baby can not hold his/ her head. This could be due to musculoskeletal or structural causes. Either way, it is best that further evaluation be done to determine the underlying cause. Complete medical history, physical examination and some diagnostic tests such as x-ray will help.
