has anyone had stem cell done in phoenix arizona for cerebral palsy if so have you seen any improvment please let me know for i have a 12yr old son and thinking of doing this but it very expensive if it helps worth it if not would like to know
Actually, this is a very tough decision as doctors have mixed opinions about the efficacy of stem cells in treating CP. While there is a general consensus that stem cells benefit in acute brain injuries, many doctors feel that they do not have any role to play in chronic scenarios such as CP.
In your case it would be best to join a support group in your area, meet neurologists, join support group online, find information about clinical trials on stem cell research in CP and gather information from there. Hope this helps. Take care!
