daughter with cp falls, how can I protect her from injury

daughter has cp, and frequent falls. she does not know how to break her falls.

Hi I would suggest that you get her a helmet something soft but cushioning to protect her head. As for the rest of her body its going to be hard to protect other than  adding a layer of clothing, as that would restrict her movements more. My son has CP and he always falls over, but he is really not to phased by it. It depends on how they fall where they fall and on what they fall. Really you just have to allow her to fall. She will work out herself how to deal with it when she is old enough, kids with CP are very capable, more than alot of people give them credit for. As a mum its hard to watch them fall but you have to, you cant wrap her in cotton wool. And apart from common sense obviously you try to make the environment as fall proof as possible where possible, other than that you are already doing all that can be done.
