Confused????

I have been bleeding for over a month w/lower pelvic and back pain. I went to my gyn to get pap last week (did not get results) she felt that i had something on my right side, today i went for an u/s, said that it was unremarkable??? I have not talked my my gny yet but a my fam dr advised me of this. What does that mean? i am still bleeding, with pain. could the u/s be wrong? i am supposed to hear from my gny tomorrow. i am so confused, i am not imagining this stuff, could it be something else? has this happened to anyone else??
